About BCCA
The Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology (BCCA) was incorporated in December, 2002. The BCCA currently operates as an independent non-profit corporation whose primary function is to administer a certification examination as a means of attesting to the competency of the anaplastologist. Candidates, who wish to be awarded the credential CCA, must first successfully pass an examination.
The BCCA board of directors is comprised of anaplastologists with areas of specialization including facial prosthetics, dental laboratory technology, somato prosthetics, prosthetics & orthotics, ocular science, craniofacial implants, maxillofacial prosthodontics, and materials science, as well as a member of the public community. About our Credential
The credential of CCA is conferred upon those individuals for having fulfilled the requirement of this board and are hereby granted a Certificate of Qualification for the Practice of Clinical Anaplastology. Individuals displaying the mark of CCA practice safe and effective patient care and are committed to continuing education.
