The next certification exam will be announced soon.

Eligibility

The first step towards BCCA certification testing consists of successfully meeting the following elements:

  1. BCCA Eligibility Application Form (refer to BCCA Eligibility Application Form)
  2. Application fee (currently $300.00 US)
  3. Documentation of Educational & Training Requirements, including:
    1. Educational Coursework Requirements* AND
    2. Supervised Clinical Training*
  4. Documentation of Clinical Work Experience, including:
    1. Listing of Portfolio Clinical Cases AND
    2. Narrative Presentation of 3 Detailed Cases* AND
    3. Detailed Cases Supporting Documents*
    4. PowerPoint Portfolio of 3 Detailed Portfolio Cases* AND
    5. PowerPoint Portfolio of 15 Concise Portfolio Cases*
  5. 2 Letters of Reference (refer to BCCA Letter of Reference Form)

* These requirements are more fully specified in the Certification Exam Eligibility Requirements & Application

Examination

Once eligibility has been reviewed by the board and application accepted, candidates may register for the certification exam (current exam fee $800.00).  The next exam is December 17, 2011 in Toronto, ON Canada.  Click here for 2011 CCA Certification Exam Registration Application due November 18, 2011.

Those who pass the exam will enter a five-year renewal cycle beginning on the date of the passed exam. They will need to meet all renewal requirements including payment of fees and meeting continuing education requirements to maintain their certification as an “Active in Good Standing” Certified Clinical Anaplastologist.
